Sufi Qadir Buksh ‘Bedil’
One of the legendary poets and Sufi masters of the Indus Valley was Abdul Qadir alias Qadir Buksh ‘Bedil’ of the historical Rohri. His father was a dervish himself and he was known as Dervish Mohammed Hassan. Bedil was born in 1230 AH/ 1814 AD. He was educated in theology and Arabic and Persian languages.
